Indian Institute of Technology Madras Admissions in Post Doctoral Fellowships 2012

Eligibility:
Candidates with a PhD Degree or who have submitted their theses for the PhD degree in appropriate disciplines and with consistently good academic record and research potential can apply for the PDF positions in any case within five years after completion of PhD.

The candidates selected for the PDF will be pursuing independent research at the Institute. However, they will be attached to an appropriate Department depending on the postdoctoral research and will be associated with a faculty member of the department who will essentially perform the role of a collaborator. Candidates who obtained their doctoral degree from IIT Madras can also apply for the PDF. However, it is desirable that such candidates if selected will be associated with a faculty member other than their PhD supervisor/s.

Age Limit:
The age limit for applicants for the PDFs will be maximum of 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for women and reserved category).

HSCST Fellowship Programme 2011-2012

Haryana State Council For Science and Technology offering opportunity or CSIR-JRF and were successful in clearing CSIR LS NET in CSIR-UGC Test for JRF and LS (NET) held on 19th December, 2010

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR. Candidates who have opted for CSIR-JRF and have at least qualified CSIR-LS NET will be selected on the basis of their performance in NET for carrying out their PhD work in any of the University/Institute in Haryana.

Eligibility: M.Sc. or equilaent degree in any of the subjects in above broad subject areas , with minimum 55 % marks; and should have opted for CSIR JRF (NET) and were able to qualify eligibility test for Lecturere ship-NET in joint CSIR UGC Test for JRF and LS (NET) held on 19.12.2010. Candidates availing fellowship/financial assistance from any other source will not be eligible.
